Brief: The health monitoring of structures has been a good research topic because every infrastructure facility deteriorates with time due to various reasons including fatigue failure, effects of environmental conditions and extreme events such as an earthquake. The damage detection methods are either visual or localized experimental methods. Some smart sensing technologies are also used to detect the damage in the structural system.
